- Amount of blood The amount of blood that comes out depends on the depth of the prick and the pressure with which you place the lancing device on the skin.
- Sample type Capillary blood
- Blood collection sites We recommend using capillary blood on the sides of the fingertips, as the sensation of pain is lowest at these sites. However, it is better to leave out the thumb and index finger. Alternative body sites such as the ball of the hand, forearm, upper arm, calf or thigh are also suitable for capillary blood for blood glucose measurement.
- Target group Accu-Chek FastClix is intended for personal use only! Only the same person may use it to take blood samples. The lancing device is therefore not suitable for professional use in healthcare facilities.
- Lancet drum The lancing device contains a drum with 6 sterile lancets.
- Lancing depth It can be individually adjusted in 11 different levels (0.5 to 5.5 mm).
- Lancet bevel The special 3-facet bevel with its smooth, polished surface allows the lancet to penetrate the skin almost frictionlessly and therefore particularly gently.
- Lancet movement The Accu-Chek FastClix lancing device works with the patented, virtually painless Softmotion technology. Softmotion is the principle of lancet movement guided on both sides. The lancet is moved back and forth without vibration.
- Storage conditions of the lancets Protect the lancet drums from extreme temperatures (e.g. do not store them in a hot car or in the refrigerator).
