Adventus

Adventus is a fifth wheel that can be attached to the rigid frame of wheelchairs. It was developed to cope with uneven surfaces such as cobblestones, gardens, beach and forest paths. The Adventus mobility aid lifts the front wheels of the wheelchair off the ground, extending the wheelbase and making it easier to maneuver. The large wheel and longer wheelbase make Adventus ideal for unpaved paths and ensure a comfortable ride on roads and sidewalks. Assembly and disassembly on the platform is quick and easy.

Adventus can be mounted on most wheelchairs with a full-length footrest and can be combined with the E-Move electric drive system and mountain bike tires for extreme terrain. It can also be combined with the E-Drive electric drive system. Adventus is supplied as a complete set and is optionally available with a bracket for transportation so that it can be attached to the back of the wheelchair when not in use. It comes in black as standard, but is also available in various colors.

Thanks to its large wheel and pneumatic tires, Adventus absorbs the vibrations normally transmitted by smaller wheels. Adventus' larger wheel makes it easier to negotiate obstacles. The wide pneumatic tires prevent it from getting stuck in streetcar tracks and make it easier to drive on soft surfaces such as grass or gravel.
