The AS Motion is an innovative seating system designed to follow the body's movements, allowing for motion even while seated. It supports the movement of the hip, back, and knee joints, prevents shear forces, and relieves pressure on the ischial tuberosities, thereby reducing the risk of pressure ulcers. The extension and flexion resistances at the hip and knee joints can be individually adjusted using gas springs to ensure optimal seating position and comfort. The AS Motion seating unit is specifically designed for users with extension spasticity and severe seating problems.
