Batec Air

The Batec Air is an electric handbike that attaches to a manual wheelchair, transforming it into a nimble electric vehicle. Weighing just 11 kg, it is Batec’s lightest model and about 20% lighter than the Batec Mini 2. The foldable handlebars and quick-fold mechanism make this wheelchair-towing device particularly compact: It fits in any car and can be stowed in the included travel bag. This makes the Batec Air ideal for on the go, for travel, or as a second handbike.
The small 10-inch front wheel forms a very compact unit with the wheelchair and ensures an extremely small turning radius. Combined with reverse gear, the Batec Air can be maneuvered effortlessly even in the tightest spaces, such as in stores or elevators.
Despite its compact design, the Batec Air is a full-fledged electric handbike. The 350-W motor with intelligent electronics reaches speeds of up to 15 km/h. Safety features include a horn, a 30-lux headlight, and two red LED taillights. Important information is displayed on a TFT color screen.
