The BUDDY from PRO ACTIV is a modern children’s and youth wheelchair that has been specially designed to meet the needs of young users. Thanks to its customizable features, it grows with the child and supports active, independent mobility in daily life, during therapy, and in leisure time.
This sturdy active wheelchair encourages independent activity, supports therapeutic goals such as posture control and movement coordination, and offers a high level of riding comfort. Whether at school, on the playground, or on outings—the BUDDY reliably accompanies children and teens on every adventure.
With optional accessories such as the FREEWAY steering attachment, the outdoor wheel attachment, or the SPIKE adaptive bike, the range of activities can be significantly expanded. This makes the BUDDY a flexible companion for an active and self-determined life.

Den ersten hat unsere Tochter mit 2 Jahren bekommen. Als er zu eng und zu klein wurde, gab es eine neue angepasste Sitzschale. Beim zweiten war es genauso und den dritten hat sie mit 13 Jahren bekommen.
Besonders wichtig ist der Einhand-Antrieb, damit unsere Tochter selbständig fahren kann. Der ist einfach sehr gut beim Buddy, so dass sie mühelos lenken kann.
Außerdem kann man den Buddy individuell zusammenstellen und anpassen. Das macht ihn flexibel.
