Whole-leg orthosis for dynamic redression and stance support with locking function in the knee joint.
The CDS® lock knee-ankle joint orthosis treats extension deficits in the knee and dorsiflexion deficits in the ankle joint. Dynamic continuous traction promotes tissue growth, while the spring force helps the patient to stand up. A self-locking ratchet in the knee enables safe standing therapy. The lock can be activated without tools and with one hand via remote control. Short walking distances and walking therapy are possible in freewheel mode.
