E-Drive NXT

The E-Drive NXT from Decon Mobility is an electric auxiliary drive for manual wheelchairs and an evolution of the proven E-Drive. Modern hub motors provide more power, stability, and safety. The system can be easily mounted on many manual wheelchairs, and the user decides for themselves, depending on the situation, whether to use the motor drive or propel the wheelchair under their own power.
The E-Drive NXT is controlled via a new joystick with an integrated display. Speed mode, battery level, and system messages are clearly visible at a glance, eliminating the need for a separate display. This ensures a predictable and safe driving experience, especially off-road or on inclines. The joystick rotates, making it easier to get in and out of the wheelchair. The position and rotary knob can be customized to ensure that operation remains ergonomic and comfortable, regardless of hand function or driving style.
Optionally, the wheelchair drive can be equipped with a caregiver control unit. This allows the caregiver to maneuver the wheelchair smoothly and predictably, both indoors and outdoors on challenging terrain. A display also shows the most important information here.
