The Gazelle PS is a standing frame with abduction adjustment for the hips and tilt adjustment to a horizontal position. It is designed for children and adolescents with hip issues. With numerous adjustment options and a wide range of accessories, the Gazelle PS adapts to various needs. The standing frame can be used in both prone and supine positions (PS: Prone and Supine). Studies show that abducted standing positively impacts hip development. The legs can be separately abducted up to 30° to achieve maximum hip and knee extension.

Available in three sizes, suitable for children and adolescents with a height of 80 cm to 150 cm.

Vertical and Horizontal Tilt: Positioning from vertical to 15° below horizontal, ideal for respiratory therapy and postural drainage
Foldable: Easily folds from an upright position by loosening a screw and lifting slightly, making it convenient for storage or transport
Hip Abduction: Anatomically correct adjustment of the femur bones in the hip sockets, with each leg adjustable to the optimal angle separately
Versatile Adjustable Footrests: Ball joints in the footplates allow for positioning and support of nearly any foot posture

Accessories:

Table with Basin and Cover Plate: Adjustable in height, depth, and angle, suitable for both prone and supine positions.
Table Cushion: Provides full padding for the table, covering the therapy basin and the table's surrounding edge.
Therapy Bar: Suitable for both prone and supine positions, available in one size.
Head Plate with Face Cutout: Designed for users with little or no head control when using the Gazelle PS in the prone and horizontal positions. It can be easily used during standing training.

Wir haben die Gazelle seit Sommer 2024 für unseren Sohn mit Zerebralparese als Stehständer im Einsatz. Das besondere an der Gazelle ist die individuelle Einstellbarkeit der Abduktion der Winkel für die Hüfte (also das Kind steht nicht einfach nur mittig), so dass eine noch bessere Zentrierung der Hüftgelenke in der Hüftpfanne stattfinden kann. Wir sind damit sehr zufrieden. Zudem ist das Grundgestell sehr kompakt und wendig (platzsparend). Zudem kann man die Gazelle klappen, so dass sie sich auch sehr platzsparend transportieren lässt.
