The orthosis for active relief and correction of the lumbar and thoracic spine in the sagittal plane offers an upgrade and downgrade option. The Osteo Orthosis from MKS® is based on the proven reclination principle. The two shoulder straps, which are attached to the back plate, straighten the spine and thus relieve the thoracic spine. The wide abdominal section of the orthosis causes the lumbar spine to be de-lordosed and thus relieves pressure on this area. Rotation is restricted by connecting the reclination straps with additional lateral straps on the abdominal section. The orthosis also offers a practical fitting and removal option that allows the orthosis to be put on or taken off as required to ensure individual adjustment and comfort.
