The Thorecta plus orthosis by MKS® is designed for the relief and/or correction of the lumbar and thoracic spine in the sagittal and frontal planes. It offers a mobilization function with the option of putting on and taking off. Based on the proven 3-point and reclination principle, the front and back parts of the orthosis align and relieve the spine. The wide thoracic brace enhances immobilization by restricting lateral flexion, further reducing stress across the treated area. The reclination straps support spinal alignment and minimize rotational movements. In addition, targeted compression between the pelvic crest and the thorax creates a cherry pit effect, providing additional relief to the lumbar spine
