Piro® is different. Very different. It's the thinnest, lightest, and best-looking AFO (Ankle-Foot Orthosis) and SMO (Supramalleolar Orthosis) ever made.
Piro® leverages the latest technologies such as 3D scanning and 3D printing to provide your child with unparalleled comfort.
For children with cerebral palsy and similar conditions, AFOs and SMOs are amazing aids in improving their mobility and control. Unfortunately, most of these orthoses are heavy and bulky. In our clinical facilities, we treat many children with AFOs and SMOs. We have firsthand experience of how challenging it is for the little patients to fit heavy orthoses into their shoes.
We have completely redesigned the standard orthoses to enhance the mobility of our patients. We've combined our clinical experience with our technical strengths to develop a revolutionary device. Your child will feel the difference with every step.
Every person is unique and has individual needs. We take pride in offering 8 different base types of Piro®, which can be perfectly customized to your child with additional configurations.

    Die Individualisierung und das Design haben uns vollkommen überzeugt. Das Feedback von unseren jungen Patientinnen und Patienten ist durchweg positiv.

    Besonders bemerkenswert ist, dass die Piro Orthesen nicht nur funktional sind, sondern auch ästhetisch ansprechend gestaltet wurden. Die Tatsache, dass die Kinder sich darauf freuen, die Orthesen anzulegen, unterstreicht die Qualität dieser Orthese.

    Es wurden von mir zwar erst 4 Kunden/innen mit den Piro Orthesen versorgt, jedoch kann ich schon jetzt sagen das die Passform das Designe und auch die Handhabung mehr als nur zufriedenstellend ist. Die Rückmeldungen meiner kleinen Patienten/innen sind durchwegs nur positiv. Die Eltern berichten alle davon das sich ihre Kinder sogar darauf freuen die Orthesen an zu ziehen. Von meiner Sicht aus ein wirklich Tolles Produkt und ich würde es jedem empfehlen die Orthesen einmal aus zu Probieren. Danke Invent Medical!
