PowerHip®

The PowerHip® self-power orthosis was specifically developed for children with spina bifida (MMC). It is custom-fitted and manufactured using 3D printing to transfer strength from the child's strong knees to their weak hips. This orthosis enables active extension of the hips using the child's own leg strength. As a result, many children with spina bifida can move better and are more mobile.
