The Sensory Hug orthosis was developed to provide a calming effect for children and adults with autism, ADD, SID and ADHD. It is adjustable, comfortable and durable. The S.D.O. Sensory Hug provides sensory and proprioceptive feedback to improve body awareness and posture.
- The Sensory Hug orthosis improves attention and concentration without restricting range of motion.
- The pressure of the Sensory Hug is adjustable to give the patient control over sensory experiences.
- Two different zippers (3 cm and 5 cm apart) allow the pressure to be varied according to need.
- Adjustable shoulder straps ensure optimal pressure.
- In case of reduced lung capacity or low muscle capacity, seek medical advice.
- The Sensory Hug can be worn under or over everyday clothing.
