The Tandem-Copilot 3 provides essential stability compared to the traditional Copilot model, making it particularly suitable for agile cyclists or individuals with impaired balance.
Thanks to the third wheel, both riders can sit comfortably, even when stationary. Mounting and dismounting are easy due to the high stability. The front part can be folded down to provide more space for mounting and dismounting. The pilot takes control of the steering, while the passenger has handlebars to hold onto. The pilot can engage the optional freewheel, allowing the passenger to pedal. With the regular freewheel, the passenger can choose whether to pedal or not. It's a tandem that enables joint cycling without safety concerns.

    Wir sind seit ca 2 Monaten Besitzer des Copilots. Für uns ermöglicht sich dadurch, mal als Familie zusammen unterwegs zu sein, wir schaffen es bis in den nächsten Ort oder zur Eisdiele. Die Steuerung erfolgt von der hinten Fahrenden, ebenso das bremsen. Wir haben es mit elektrischer Unterstützung, da das Eigengewicht recht hoch ist. Durch das zugelassene gesamt Gewicht, werden wir es lange gemeinsam nutzen können. Der hintere Sattel lässt sich super verstellen (mein Mann und ich können es beide benutzen und uns trennen über 20 cm Körpergröße). Der Anschaffungspreis ist nicht gerade gering. Unterstützung durch die Krankenkasse gab es keine, wo anders haben wir es auch erst gar nicht versucht. Dafür viel Spaß im Alltag damit.
