Eye-controlled computer
Children and adolescents with physical disabilities may have difficulty communicating in traditional ways. One way to facilitate their communication is through the use of eye-controlled computers. This technology tracks the user’s eye movements and translates them into mouse movements and keystrokes. This allows children and adolescents with disabilities to use computer programs and applications to write text, send emails, browse the internet, and even play games. Eye tracking can also be integrated into speech synthesizers to enable users to communicate verbally. This can improve their ability to participate in social life and help them become more independent and self-reliant.
