Helmets and head restraint systems

Helmets, also known as head protection helmets, protect the wearer from head injuries. They are designed for children at risk of falling or those with uncontrollable movements who might otherwise injure their heads. These protective helmets are available in fabric or leather. When purchasing one, you should check whether it is custom-made (in which case the child cannot try it on beforehand) or whether the manufacturer offers a demo helmet through a medical supply store. Some helmets are adjustable, while others are not.
