Standing wheelchairs

There are electric wheelchairs (power wheelchairs) with a standing function and manual standing wheelchairs. Standing wheelchairs are specially designed for children and young people with disabilities who are unable to stand or have difficulty standing due to their physical impairment. These aids are designed to hold the user's body safely and comfortably in an upright position to promote both standing training and mobility. Standing wheelchairs offer many benefits, including improving bone and muscle function, reducing contractures and spasms, and aiding breathing and digestion. They can also improve interaction and communication with other children and young people as the user is in an upright position at eye level. There are different models of standing wheelchairs that can be selected depending on the user's needs.
