Castillo Morales

Castillo Morales is a special therapy method for children and young people with motor and sensory disorders. It was developed by the Chilean therapist Ramón Castillo Morales and is based on the findings of sensory integration therapy and neurological rehabilitation.

The aim of the therapy is to improve the child's self-regulation, coordination and sensory perception so that they can cope better with everyday activities and tasks. A holistic approach is taken, which also takes into account the social and emotional aspects of development.

The therapy involves a combination of manual techniques, movement and coordination exercises and sensory stimulation. This also includes special exercises for oral motor skills and to improve breathing and swallowing functions.

The therapy is individually tailored to the child's needs and can be carried out in both individual and group therapy. The therapists work closely with the parents and other professionals involved to ensure the best possible support for the child.

Castillo Morales therapy has proven to be effective for various disorders such as cerebral palsy, spasticity, developmental disorders, sensory integration disorders, as well as neurological and genetic disorders. It can help children and young people with disabilities to improve their motor and sensory skills and increase their quality of life.
