WHILL - Innovative mobility solutions
At WHILL, we develop mobility solutions that enable people to shape their everyday lives independently. Our power wheelchairs and e-scooters combine modern design with intelligent technology - for reliable, safe and flexible mobility in every life situation. Our focus is always on the individual benefit: mobility should be easily accessible, intuitive and a matter of course.
Founded in Japan in 2012 by an interdisciplinary team of three men with experience in automotive design, research and medical technology, we have set ourselves the goal of rethinking mobility. A personal conversation with a wheelchair user gave rise to the idea of creating aids that are not only functional but also stylish.
Today, we are represented worldwide - with locations in Japan, the USA, Europe and China - and have received several awards for our product design and innovative strength. WHILL stands for a new generation of individual mobility. Our developments combine Japanese precision, innovative technical know-how and a clear design language. Our drive remains unchanged: To support people around the world in expanding their freedom of movement and enabling stylish and individual mobility.
