3D scanning vs. plaster cast
The measure for new orthoses is one of the biggest challenges of a custom-fit and functional fitting - it forms the basis for individual fabrication. This process can be demanding for our technicians as well as for children and their relatives. That is why we have made it our goal to make this step as pleasant as possible. Wherever possible, we replace plaster casts and large scissors with modern 3D scans. This makes taking impressions for orthotic treatment child's play and as stress-free as possible.
