NightWatch+ epilepsy monitoring

NightWatch is a clinically validated Class IIa medical seizure detection system according to MDR (EU) 2017/745 for the detection of clinically relevant epileptic seizures during sleep. NightWatch also received approval from the FDA in the USA. NightWatch is now available in many countries. In German-speaking countries, NightWatch can be reimbursed by health insurance companies. In Germany, NightWatch+ is listed in the GKV medical aid directory with the number 21.46.01.0006.
The NightWatch sensor is comfortable to wear and continuously records physiological parameters such as heart rate and movement patterns. Based on generic algorithms, this data is analyzed in real time in order to identify characteristic patterns of epileptic seizures and issue an alarm in good time.
If a suspected seizure event is detected, the system automatically sends a wireless signal to the associated base station. Caregivers are notified immediately via audible and visual alarms - even from a separate room - so that rapid intervention is possible.
NightWatch detects the following motor epileptic seizures:
- tonic-clonic seizures
- prolonged tonic seizures
- clusters of myoclonic seizures
- hypermotor seizures
The cause or localization of the seizure is irrelevant (according to ILAE classification 2017 and 2025)

Detektiert sehr gut die Anfälle und hat wenige Fehlalarme.
