We support every child in achieving their cognitive goals, such as improving body awareness, spatial awareness, communication, attention, and social skills. adViva takes an interdisciplinary approach; goals are defined in collaboration with the patient, their family, and physicians and physical therapists. In the field of orthotics, we employ 62 staff members across three locations in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region.

Prosthetics for children
At the adViva workshop, we manufacture prosthetics using the latest technical advancements and exclusively employ the most up-to-date components and materials. Each prosthesis is custom-made to your specifications, with precise measurements taken and your child’s design preferences taken into account. We offer a wide range of prostheses for daily life, sports, and leisure, as well as prostheses for showering and swimming. adViva will advise you on selecting the right permanent or temporary prosthesis so that your child can regain mobility quickly after surgery.
Corrective braces and corsets
By utilizing state-of-the-art technologies, such as CAD-aided design and digital body scanning, we ensure that every orthosis fits perfectly and achieves the best possible therapeutic results. Our interdisciplinary approach, combined with customized solutions, ensures that your child receives the support they need to develop to their full potential.
Video-based gait and motion analysis
Video-based gait and movement analysis illustrates the individual phases of movement by examining biometric axes and can identify potential misalignments and excessive strain. The analyses are conducted by sports scientists and physical therapists and are subsequently discussed and evaluated together. Patients and clients receive recommendations for personalized training programs and for medical aids such as insoles, bandages, or orthoses, always with the goal of promoting or restoring movement and reducing pain.
adViva Physical Therapy - Moving with Assistive Devices
At adViva Physical Therapy, our focus is on improving your child’s movement patterns and walking ability. Our adVPhysio approach helps optimize the interaction between the body, assistive devices, and movement.
Together with experienced physical therapists, we show you how to use orthoses and other assistive devices correctly, how to train specific movements, and how your child can gain more confidence and enjoyment in moving.
