Positioning aids

Positioning aids are aids for full-body positioning of children with disabilities. The positioning aids support positioning and enable children to adopt a good sitting or lying position. They usually consist of a robust, washable outer cover and an inner bag filled with different materials. The full-body positioning systems enable children with disabilities and mobile restrictions to relax, sit or lie in many different positions and postures in a therapeutically beneficial way. They facilitate a more active perception of the environment and can improve motor skills. Full-body positioning aids also prevent postural damage and contractures.
