Standing aids or standing trainers for children are aids for children who cannot stand on their own. Standing trainers can help children to get to their feet. There are standing frames, which are static devices that hold children upright and enable them to stand. They remain in the same position. Standing bicycles are aids that enable the device to be moved, i.e. a change of position on wheels in a standing position. Both types of aids train the user to stand, so they are also standing trainers.
They must be correctly measured by a medical supply store or therapist and adapted to the patient's height and physical limitations.
